PLEASE READ OUR MISSION
STATEMENT BELOW
"OUR MISSION STATEMENT"
"columbiariverman"
Offers
the private and public sectors of archaeology, amateur
archaeology,
private collectors, and
hobbyist the clear right to use this materials for lector, research and education.
WE ADVOCATE FOR THE STUDY OF PACIFIC NORTHWEST ARCHAEOLOGY
HELLO, I'm FRED VAN RONK a
PROFESSIONAL ARCHAEOLOGIST, with a degree from a major Pacific Northwest University and offer this information and statement, to the public. We
Strongly believe that Anthropology and Archaeology is for
ALL to enjoy.
"Limiting knowledge is a crime,"
Limiting knowledge, inhibits growth of the human
spirit and limits balance within fields of
anthropology and archaeology. We believe that it's
our mission to balance anthropology and
archaeology and to correct, critique, and promote the study of the
discipline of
American Anthropology. We believe that many of our public anthropologist in
the Pacific Northwest are using their public and stately position
towards the political left and have created a form of anti-private and
anti-moderate view
of our cultural resources assets. We believe these special
interests groups of Anthropologist and Archaeologist,
ONLY advocate from the public sector.
It is our view that this is a one sided view tend to view all cultural
resources as public property.
We believe this is very poor judgment on their behalf and has a
negative affect on the vast majority of the American population.
We believe that in our many years of experience, we see this small minority of
"All Pro-Public
Property" group as a threat to education, and advancement of the science
of archaeology. We see this same small group as have taken control of
most of our public colleges and universities and preaching only
"Public Control of Cultural Resources"
Tell us, Mr. and Mrs. All Public Control Groups about a world with
a
one line philosophy of public control? Then
tell us, that others views, values and philosophies are not acceptable
within your anti-private groups? Then also tell us what
happened to Private sector, yes the people who pay
your pay check? Perhaps, those of you view all cultural resources as
public property also view American as a Socialist America?
Our point is simply, PRIVATE IS AS GOOD AS
PUBLIC, AMERICA NEED BOTH, ONE TO BALANCE THE
OTHER.
Perhaps, we have come to a point where a few leftist and idealist decide
for all of us? Then these few leftist and idealist, need to come a
take control of all the collection and return all of those
collections to the tribes? Perhaps, these same idealist people can
contact the leftist press and set up a huge ceremonial TV and press
meeting to proof that they are open mind social workers? Then please,
tell us folks who have paid for your education, your wages, and over
extended your legal right to free speech, free press, and allowed you
and others to take control of all thinking, writing, and ownership of
art and artifacts what your going to study after all the art and
artifacts have been returned to the tribes to be destroyed? Please, then
note that after you have returned all the art and artifacts
"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO STUDY?. Perhaps At this point we have just one big mind set,
"Your leftists idealist philosophy," We see those who complain about
"PRIVATE OWNERSHIP" are just one
group, they all have one philosophy one common denominator and all
are working for the federal, state, or have retired from
government. AMERICA NEEDS BALANCE.
Public and Tribal ownership of cultural resources has it drawbacks, as
in all cases of Socialism its never worked any place on earth. All
public ownership has it limits. Limits, that control others
thinking, limits that inhabit new science, limits that limit expression
in writing, and for diversity of the discipline of research within
Anthropology/Archaeology. Our extensive investigation has produced
evidence of Public Employees, state and federal employees that advocate
only tribal stewardship and ownership. We believe this Mono
position is wrong and violates the American People Trust as well as the
American Dream. We ask all those idealist and Ivory Tower PhD's
for a Debate on who owns what? We ask these idealist who demand
for themselves diversity, but practice a limited
MONO idealist
view for equal time on your political
correct and legal correct ownership and stewardship of "Cultural
Resources". For us, science is study and research, not a political
correct and idealist power to please a few militants and fundamentalists American Indians.
We see science as the true looser of such debauchee as well as 99% of
the Americans people. We also see your students, who you fill with
one sided values and anti-American and Mono views and hatred toward the
private sector as a large looser. AMERICA
NEEDSBALANCE.
We have no issue with American Indians who wish and want to share in the
American Dream. We all came to this earth the same as all other
humans. We believe, we all have the legal and infallible right to
have personal and private items, the same as American Indians have or any
other human who is part of the human experience.
We consider, cultural remains of Ancient
America as a resource for the
"Entire American Community"
and to be shared by all the people of the earth. We find that
destroying cultural remains for any reason be it religious or spiritual
or for just hate, covet and to sell in the black market as criminal.
We believe that the vast majority of the American people want and have
the legal right to enjoy, share, view art and artifacts from ancient
people of all America, before Columbus not simply a few idealist, and
fundamentalist.
AMERICA, NEEDS BALANCE AND ARCHAEOLOGY
NEEDS BALANCES
We consider those fundamentalist groups as anti-science and well armed
with anger and hate of other Americans. We know that nobody can return
time to before 1492 nor any other wished time. People of the earth
have migrated, conquered burned, killed raped, and even enslaved others
for thousands of years. We also know that all the people of the
earth living today have at one time or the other been a victim of such
conquered, raped, and enslaved cultures. So we ask that we stop
the anger and hate of the past and dwell on the future and understand
that all cultures, civilianization and societies of the earth have been
ill-treated in the past. (That's true even those PhD's setting in
the Ivory Tower)=( Social workers)
ARCHAEOLOGY NEEDS BALANCE
We see many colleague of anthropology/archaeology as selling themselves
to anger and hate groups for being political correct or to practice
idealism. We need to be perfectly clear that we do not believe
that anthropology/archaeology has any political structure and most of
these idealist are bordering on "Marxism" and buying into some political
philosophy that has failed everywhere on the plant. That is unless
they believe that the social system in North Korea, Cuba, or the failed
experiment of Eastern Germany is their goal? On the failed
experiment one only has to ask them to drive through Eastern Germany and
see what, "Socialist" did to that land. What we advocate is
balance between these idealist and Marxist and a pro-scientists moderate
balance based on fact, that Private is just as good as Public.
"Warning," If THE
IDEALIST AND SOCIAL WORKERS continue to move into the special interest
formula and move to the left in our total approach to
Anthropology/Archaeology balance will cease, with no balance we will see
free speech, free press, and research and science halted all in the name
of idealist and political correctness. Then we will become just another
failed Socialist Society.
We at the same
time strongly believe in the
FREE AMERICAN ECONOMIC SYSTEM,
and advocate for private as
well as public ownership of American Indian art and artifacts.
We have built our private museum and a scientifically
developed, and well curate collection of Columbia River art and
artifacts that
is
OPEN TO
VIEWBY ALL,
upon
reasonable request. We offer free training in cataloging of archaeological
artifacts for the amateur archaeologist or collectors.
We don't advocate or
legitimize "LOOTING"in the form of digging archaeological materials.
However, we do advocate the right to walk the banks of the
rivers and streams, tours of archaeological sites, and the free study
of American Indian Pre-history.
We strongly believe that
all Americans and peoples of the earth have the right to know
"WHO THE FIRST
AMERICANSWERE."
I'm a person of the Columbia River having lived 90% of my life
within two miles of the Columbia River. I found my first
arrowhead when I was 9 or 10 years old, near the Central Washington town of
Wenatchee, Washington. We lived about one mile from the Indian
Reservation, and I attended school with
American Indian children of
my age.
We believe collecting of art and artifacts is a normal and natural behavior.
All humans collect, that all even simple early hunter gathers
collected. So some PhD at liberal tech, please tell us why
we are any different today?ARCHAEOLOGY NEEDS BALANCE.
Most people of the earth search for information about peoples
that lived in their area before recent time periods. This
curiosity has been exploited by self-centered, selfish,
post modern archaeologists, politicians, and attorneys who are
interested in buying vote's, or dramatizing and lobbying
to their position with the State, Federal Government. To them I
say, "Science will win in the end," and people
will still
want to know about America Before Columbus.
If you read this message and wish to comment, please do so,
without the tones of hate or anger. Honor our
rights to free speech you have yours.
